Food Challenge


Event Information

Date: Wednesday, November 30, 2022

Registration:  September 1 – November 8, 2022  Register on 4-H Online

Late Registration: November 9-16


Location:

Jack County Youth Fair Barn, Hwy 59 North: Jacksboro, Texas


Fee:

Regular Registration $10.00 per 4-H participant

Late Fee $25.00 + Regular fee of $10.00


Age Division:

Junior – Grades 3 thru 5

Intermediate – Grades 6 thru 8

Senior – Grades 9 thru 12


Teams per County:

Each county may enter a maximum of two Junior teams, a maximum of two Intermediate teams and a maximum of two Senior teams. The first and second place teams in each age divisions should advance to the district contest. At the county contest, this will require that all teams within one age division be judged against each other and placed (not judged and placed according to food category).

Members Per Team: Each team will have at least three and no more than four members. Up to two Juniors per county may move up to compete on an intermediate team.
