What’s Happening

February is nearly over and the winter weather is still with us. The major stock shows are in full swing.

Your 2014-2015 District 3 4-H Council Officers are President Caitlin Pruett, 1st Vice President Karson Hood, Delegate at Large Mason Huse, 2nd Vice President Lyndi Luttrull, Secretary Kathryn Cude, Public Relations Chairman Mikayla Graham, and Web Master Lakota Branham. They are here to serve you, the members, of Rolling Plains 3 4-H.

District News

Spring contests are quickly approaching. Check out the information posted on this website and begin practicing for the contests and District Roundup. It's never to early to start.

An important message from the D3 4-H Council:

The District 3 4-H Council is selling t-shirts to promote District 3 4-H, and the proceeds will be donated to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for childhood cancer research. Alex’s Lemonade Stand is also the Texas 4-H Council’s statewide community service project, and the District that raises the most money will receive an ice cream party on Thursday night at Texas 4-H Roundup.

We have attached a flyer with order form for the t-shirt sales, and if your county would like to hold a separate fundraiser in addition to this for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, we have attached the flyer that the State Council designed. You can find the order form and the flyer on the right side of the D3 Home Page.

Please promote our t-shirt sales in your county, and have your 4-H clubs promote it at their meetings in March. Shirts are $15 each, with an additional $3 for larger sizes, and the deadline to send in your order to Baylor County is March 31. Extension personnel would look great in this shirt too!

A special thanks to McKayla Coplen of Knox County for the original winning t-shirt design, and to the District Council for personalizing it to District 3.

Go D3!!
